CONTACT USDr. Shahnam Shifteh’s interest in dentistry started when he was just 5 years old. He saw his grandma’s dentures sitting in a cup of water next to her bed. Frightened and curious, the questions started and the interest never ended.
Fast forward to today, Dr. Shifteh has successfully practiced general and cosmetic dentistry in multiple Manhattan dental offices. He completed his undergraduate studies at SUNY Albany with a BS in Biology, and went on to attain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Additionally, he completed a one-year residency program at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and has continued to take on many continuing education courses from there. Dr. Shifteh has a passion for providing quality and detail-oriented dentistry. He also has exceptional clinical skills and is adept in crafting natural-looking restorations. By offering these services right here in his Pearl River dental office, he is able to save his patients valuable time and money.
When he’s not at the office, he enjoys watching sports and spending quality time with his family, his wife, Andrea, his son, Soren, and friends. Dr. Shifteh also loves staying active by running and hiking with his Weimaraner, Moose, and his Shiba Inu, Madison. In his free time, he also plays basketball, tennis, and softball.
